Welcome, Ed!

Please meet our new bird dog.

His name is Ed.

I picked him up in Idaho last week.

He is 8 weeks old.

And we are madly in love with him.

It’s hard to believe that Aldo the Bird Dog has been up in the stars for more than a year and a half now. I will think of him and miss him until my last breath.

We’ve been waiting for Ed to arrive for a while, and we can’t wait for years of adventures with him.

And — considering that Sally hasn’t eaten him yet — I’d say we’re off to a hell of a start.

Here’s to a lifetime of fun, ducks, birds, and love.
