North Bridger Bison Becomes First Audubon Certified Bird-Friendly Bison Ranch in Montana

After a lengthy application process, the development of a habitat management plan, a full third-party audit of our management practices, and a lot of work, we are thrilled to announce that we recently became the first Audubon Certified bird-friendly bison ranch in Montana!!!

As you know, we love nature, we love biodiversity, and we love birds -- so we are really excited about this certification.

We also look forward to working with Audubon to make our ranch as bird-friendly as possible in the years to come.

Sagebrush grassland ecosystems -- which is what our whole ranch is -- are one of the most threatened landscapes in North America.

We are happy to know that our ranch will continue to provide excellent habitat for the wildlife and birds that have evolved to depend on sagebrush grasslands for years to come.

And to celebrate our Audubon certification, our good friend Kyle Dudgeon came up to the ranch to make a short film on Audubon's Conservation Ranching program and our certification.

You can view the full film at this link. (It's only 5 minutes long and definitely worth watching.)

We appreciate the excellent and important work Audubon does for birds around the world, and we are excited to work with them going forward.

Many thanks to Audubon, and many thanks to Kyle.

Onward!
