NBB Bison Tenderloin

Happy Summer Solstice!

Today is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

Which means you should probably grill something for dinner.

And speaking of grilling, we grilled a whole bison tenderloin last weekend.

It was delicious. Ridiculously delicious.

And this is your friendly reminder that when you order a half or whole bison, you can have it custom-butchered any way you want.

And when we say custom-butchered, we really mean custom-butchered.

We put you in touch with Amsterdam Meat Shop, and you talk directly to them about how you want your half or whole bison butchered.

Flank steak. Skirt steak. Short ribs. Whole tenderloin. Brisket. Bison breakfast sausage. Bison summer sausage. Bison brats. Bison snack sticks. Bison jerky. And on and on and and on.

The sky is the limit, and many of our customers have commented how much they enjoyed talking through their cut sheet with the nice folks at Amsterdam.

It’s a throwback to a different era — when you talked to and knew your butcher.

And — in case you were wondering — you’re never going to find a whole bison tenderloin from a grassfed, grass-finished, field-harvested bison in a grocery store — and if you order one online, it will cost you more than $80 / pound.

But with our half and whole bison, you can get a whole bison tenderloin (and a whole lot more) for a super reasonable price for what you’re getting back.

That’s it. Just wanted to remind you of the custom-butchered option on our half and whole bison.

Have a wonderful Summer Solstice — and enjoy all of that sunlight!

A whole NBB bison tenderloin on the grill. This photo doesn’t do it justice — it was huge!

Eat this. Wait 90 seconds. Go dunk a basketball.
