This extraordinary, one-of-a-kind piece of art is a large NBB bull bison skull painted by Montana artist Allie Rae Daly.

Allie is a self-taught artist and naturalist, born and raised in the Rocky Mountain West. She carefully plays with the natural and unique character of each individual animal — creating truly one-of-a-kind pieces.

Each mixed media project is painted as a tribute to the animal and the environment that fostered it. Here at NBB, we have wild roses in various places on the ranch, and the arrival of Sandhill Cranes is the true harbinger of spring for us.

Allie lives and operates her art studio, Antilocapra Atelier, in the Bangtail Mountains northeast of Bozeman, Montana.

Here are the details: large bull bison skull with wild roses and Sandhill Cranes. Painted with gouache, liquid charcoal, and mica-infused watercolors. The skull measures 24" wide by 26" tall. Depth from the wall is 14" at its apex.
