Jarrett Wrisley -- Guest Chef for Outstanding in the Field Dinner

We are excited to announce that the guest chef for our July 13th Outstanding in the Field dinner here on the ranch will be our good friend Jarrett Wrisley.

Jarrett is an experienced chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author. His award-winning restaurants include Soul Food Mahanakorn, Appia, and Peppina in Bangkok — and Soul Food Thai in Hong Kong.

He has been tracing the origins of both Asian and Italian cooking traditions for the better part of 20 years in his written work, including The Roads to Rome, which was released by Penguin Random House in 2020.

After 22 years in Asia, Wrisley closed several restaurants due to the pandemic, and he and his family relocated to the US.

In April 2023, he opened Shan in Bozeman — a restaurant that reflects his Asian training and looks to the mountains of Thailand and China for inspiration.

Shan is currently a semi-finalist for the James Beard Foundation Award for Best New Restaurant in the US.

Jarrett lives with his wife, Candice, and their son, August, in Bozeman.

We are thrilled to call Jarrett, Candice, and August friends — and we can’t wait for them to create a one-of-kind meal with our bison meat on July 13th.

(Reminder that tickets go on sale on the Outstanding in the Field website tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM Mountain).
